Protective Cedar Lining in Bottom Drawers
Aromatic cedar wood lines the bottom drawer(s) of this item, providing a smooth, snag-free surface that will protect your clothing. A cornerstone of quality furniture construction, cedar is a durable wood that resists damage from moisture, mold, and bug infestations, eliminating the need for hazardous products such as moth balls to keep your furniture and off season clothing safe. As an added benefit, the beautiful wood carries a pleasant scent sure to enhance your bedroom’s warm atmosphere.
Touch Lighting Brightens Your Bedroom
Illuminate your bedroom with the touch nightlight included underneath this nightstand. Use the light to create a romantic ambiance, or turn it on to see the floor when something gets you out of bed at night. Safer than candles, and easier to use than a traditional nightlight, this nightstand's included touch lighting is the ultimate in convenience and style.
Removable Felt-Lined Trays Enhance Organization
This item contains a removable tray for simple and protective jewelry storage. Felt lining in the tray keeps your jewelry in place as you open and close the drawer, preventing necklaces from getting tangled and providing a surface that won’t get scratched by various jewels and stones. The tray can also be removed for easier access to your treasured pieces.
Dovetail Joinery Creates Strong Drawers
Drawers are constructed with dovetail joinery, ensuring long-lasting strength and storage. Made up of interlocking wedge-shaped elements called pins and tails, the joint connects drawer fronts, sides, and backs, designed to withstand the daily pulling forces you apply when you open a drawer, for problem-free use. A time-tested joint that predates written history, dovetail drawers are a mark of quality furniture construction.

Drawer & Shelf Construction
Full height, full depth and full width drawers for maximum storage capacity. All drawers have strong, time-tested English or French dovetail construction, for years of problem-free use. Plywood drawer bottoms are attached to plywood drawer sides for strength and durability. Metal side guides or wood on wood guide systems operate smoothly.
Case Construction
We use carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
